Ultra Base Systems has announced the launch of its new Champion E-Series, a turf base panel designed to deliver high performance while improving environmental sustainability. The new product is manufactured from 100% recycled material and offers the same engineering performance as the company’s original Champion panel at a lower cost.
The Champion E-Series maintains the structural strength, drainage capability, and envelope-style interlocking system that made the original panel widely used for athletic surfaces and turf installations. According to the company, the new panel was developed to provide contractors and facility owners with a more environmentally responsible base solution without sacrificing performance.
The panels measure 28 x 28 inches and 0.75 inches thick, allowing installers to use the same installation methods as the original Champion system. The design also supports faster installation over existing surfaces, often eliminating the need for extensive excavation or concrete foundations.
Ultra Base Systems says the Champion E-Series is suitable for projects up to 40,000 square feet, including artificial turf fields, putting greens, driving range tee lines, pet runs, and rooftop installations. For larger projects, the company recommends consulting its engineering team to select the most appropriate base system.
The product is available immediately through the company’s network of distributors and contractors across the United States.
