Sprinturf Awards 2026 LEAP Grants to Boost Access to Sports and Recreation

Sprinturf has announced the recipients of its 2026 LEAP (Leadership in Equity and Access in Play) grants, supporting organizations that work to expand access to safe, high-quality sports and recreation spaces across the U.S.

The initiative awarded 15 grants to schools, parks, and community organizations in Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, Texas, New Mexico, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Indiana, helping to fund synthetic turf fields and related infrastructure in underserved areas. LEAP grants aim to level the playing field by providing more equitable opportunities for youth to engage in athletics and outdoor activity.

Grant recipients were selected based on their demonstrated need and commitment to community impact. The funding supports Sprinturf’s broader mission to promote health, inclusion, and play through accessible athletic environments.
