GeoCoolTM presents an innovative infill option for athletic performance enhancement, significantly lowering surface temperature through slow evaporative cooling. This alternative to traditional SBR rubber granules and silica sand infills overcomes challenges like decay, flotation, dust, and migration issues that can result from wind, rainfall, and foot traffic.
Unlike other options, GeoCool doesn’t require frequent turf watering to remain effective. Made from inorganic, oolitic (egg-shaped) calcium carbonate mineral (“aragonite”) sourced from renewable shallow sea beds, GeoCool is 100% recyclable, odor-neutralizing, and nearly dust-free. Furthermore, it’s non-toxic, with calcium carbonate being a substance humans have safely ingested for a long time.
